Extended Thanks and Profound Gratitude to our brother-in-law Mr. Sa’ad Saeed Al-Samarraee

On behalf of the entire family of the late Dr. Nouri Jaffar, we wish to express our sincere gratitude. We are deeply indebted to you for your meticulous preservation of all Dr. Jaffar’s possessions, including his photographs, books, manuscripts, and his scientific research and studies.

Indeed, your close relationship with Nouri Jaffar, as a dear son-in-law to his eldest daughter (Alia), created a special bond since you joined our family back in the 1980’s.  He used to present you with a copy of each of his publications and entrusted you with his scientific papers, as well as the manuscripts of his numerous works and studies written in both Arabic and English. You have safeguarded this trust with genuine care and integrity, and I have found all these materials preserved and protected in your possession from that time until the present day.

Further credit is owed to you for the preservation of Nouri Jaffar’s private library in Baghdad. This remarkable collection encompassing more than ten thousand books and volumes, together with all the accompanying source materials and documents was maintained within his personal study at his residence in Baghdad.

Credit is also due to you for your invaluable support and assistance in providing me with the files, manuscripts, publications, and personal photographs of Nouri Jaffar, which I collected and obtained from you during the creation of the Nouri Jaffar website. This endeavour was undertaken to preserve and disseminate his intellectual legacy, ensuring that his scientific contributions remain alive in the memory of future generations.
